Columbia Theological Seminary, a theological institution of the Presbyterian Church (USA), prepares imaginative, resilient leaders for Christ’s church. The seminary has 36 full-time faculty members and offers seven degree programs: master of divinity, master of arts in theological studies, master of arts in practical theology, master of theology, doctor of ministry, doctor of theology in pastoral care and counseling and doctor of educational ministry.
In addition to these degree programs, CTS enrolls 2,000 church professionals and lay people each year in non-degree courses and events through the Center for Lifelong Learning.
Only six miles from downtown Atlanta, Columbia’s campus is situated on a spacious, wooded site in Decatur, a short drive from Agnes Scott College and Emory University. In addition to a student center with dining hall, the campus offers housing for single students and those with families.
